Growing up in a Marathi household, this particular deity among the myriad in Hinduism holds special significance. Each year, the Ganesh Chathurthi festival is celebrated on a grand scale, and my family contributes in a humble way. Every year, our Makhar decorations and the melodies we sing evolve. This publication serves as an archive, preserving the rich tradition of singing to the elephant-headed god.

I’ve designed this handbook to seamlessly accompany your aarti, ensuring it is neither cumbersome nor too large to carry. If this handbook has served you, I would be honored if you could share photos of it in use, whether with you, the lord, or however you choose—on my Instagram.
