The Saturday Paper

An app that allows for simplistic reading and marries the experience of physical reading with digital convenience. By allowing features that emulate paper functionality (annotations, bookmarking, clipping, highlights, etc.), the user can curate their experience in the same way they can for print with the added option of digital accessibility.
This can then be integrated with campaigns and physical touch-points in order to push awareness and transition, and can allow for slight gamification with regards to transitioning casual visitors and younger audiences into accepting long form content.

The implementation of gift cards allows for TSP to maintain a physical touchpoint, which benefits audiences with existing routines and encourages connection with local news agents.

Coffee and a Quiz aims to intrigue and gamify elements of transition by utilising the existing interest in TSP’s trivia and quiz section, combined with the very local touchpoint of coffee.

Using cup sleeves and custom designs, customers will have the chance to win a subscription by answering trivia questions given to them randomly with their morning coffee.
