Care Workforce Archetype Report for University of Tasmania.
The care economy is the backbone of Tasmania’s healthcare and social welfare system, yet it faces growing challenges in workforce sustainability. Commissioned by the University of Tasmania for the Workforce Coordination Project, this report translates critical research into a visually compelling and accessible document. I was tasked with designing both the report and the archetypes that illustrate the diverse roles within the care sector.
I drew inspiration from nature to represent the five archetypes visually, assigning each a natural element that reflects its core attributes. For example, System Warrior embodies the resilience and intensity of fire, while Creator flows with adaptability and innovation, much like water. This approach adds depth to the archetypes, reinforcing their distinct roles and motivations within the care workforce.
